Title VI Nondiscrimination Policy Statement

It is the general policy of the Town of Malta to prevent and eliminate discrimination, in all operations and services, based on race, creed, color, gender, age, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, or Vietnam era veteran status.

Accordingly, pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and other applicable state and federal law, the Town of Malta does not, on the ground of race, color, national origin, or sex, exclude anyone from participation in, deny anyone the benefits of, or subject anyone to discrimination under any of its programs or activities.

The general policy fully incorporates throughout the Town of Malta’s operations the requirements of all applicable state and federal laws prohibiting discriminatory practices, procedures and policies. All administrators, managers, supervisors and employees are directed to comply with these laws and orders.

This policy will be placed on all the Town of Malta’s bulletin boards, Town web page and made available to all organizations and entities doing business with the Town of Malta.
