| Care Links, the program that provides a helping hand to enable seniors over 60 to remain independent and to continue living in their own home, is in need of volunteers.
The program will match volunteers in the community with seniors in need of assistance. Friendly visiting, shopping, telephone assurance, respite, and chores are some of services available.
All volunteers will receive an initial screening to determine where there is a match between volunteer and the need identified. This 15-year-old program provides assistance to seniors in the towns of Clifton Park, Halfmoon, Malta, and the city of Mechanicville.
To volunteer, call Care Links at (518) 399-3262. There is no minimum number of hours required, just a willingness to be a neighbor helping a neighbor. We could use your help. |
