As part of the Round Lake Road construction project, Round Lake Road will close on Friday October 2nd at 8:00 PM and will remain closed until Monday October 5th at 6:00 AM to facilitate the construction of the roundabout at the Ruhle Road/Raylinsky Road Intersection. When the closure is completed the intersection will be a roundabout. During this closure:
• Both directions of Round Lake Road will close between the Rite-Aid and the Stewart’s Shop driveways on Round Lake Road.
• Ruhle Road and Raylinsky Road will not be accessible from Round Lake Road.
• All entrances to Adirondack Trust, Stewart’s and Rite-Aid are planned to remain open during this phase. This is subject to change based on traffic conditions and public safety.
Detour signs and electronic message signs will be in place to route motorists to Exit 10 and Exit 12. All eastbound traffic will be directed to Exit 10 or Exit 12 for access to I-87 at the East Line Road and Round Lake Road intersection. The northbound detour will use Eastline Road to NYS Route 67. The southbound detour will use Eastline/Longkill Road to Ushers Road. All westbound traffic will be directed to Exit 10 or Exit 12 at the Interstate 87 interchange. Orange detour signs will be in place to direct motorists along the detour route using Saratoga County Roads and New York State roads.
All homes and businesses will continue to be accessible during this work phase. Local officials and emergency response agencies have been notified of the planned closure and detour.
