Comprehensive Master Plan & Zoning Updates
Route 9 North Neighborhoods 6, 9 & 12
On December 5, 2016 the Town Board appointed a committee to review and update the Comprehensive Plan for Route 9 North, specifically from Collamer Drive to the boundary of the City of Saratoga Springs (Kayderosseras Creek).  Neighborhoods 6, 9 and 12 encompass this study area.  

The Committee has developed a draft Route 9 Commercial Corridor Plan related to the three neighborhoods.   The committee presented its recommendations to the Town Board on March 6, 2017.

Route 67 West South Parcels
The Town Board is considering amending the Town Zoning Map, which would affect six parcels located along the south side of Route 67 between State Farm Place and Raymond Road.   The amendment would result to modify existing R-1 residential zoning to C-2 commercial zoning.  These changes would reflect other recent amendments made along Route 67 between the Northway and Eastline Road (Neighborhood 7)

The current proposed zoning map amendment would affect the following six parcels:
229.-2-5 (685 Route 67)
229.-2-42-131 (Route 67 Rear)
229.-2-41 (675 Route 67)
229.-2-38.1 (657Route 67)
229.-2-95 (643 Route 67)
229.-2-9 (641 Route 67)

A public hearing will be held at the Malta Town Board meeting May 1, 2017 at 6:00 PM, 2540 Route 9, Malta NY  12020.
